Your visit should be fun and educational. We are here to make your visit safe and enjoyable and we provide sheets for teachers and a sheet for parents that help pupils arrive with suitable clothes and a brief of what to expect of you.

The weather up here on the Downs can be cold, windy and wet - even in the summer - so we advise bringing clothing for all weathers. If you are coming over a lunch time, remember to bring packed lunches with you. Squash breaks can be provided on request.

The site is not only open to schools, you will find other activities occurring around you during a visit and you can discuss these with the Education Officer before arrival. There are 55 acres of grounds so there are plenty of opportunities to experience the natural environment depending on which guided activities you chose.
